Schiavona Northern Italy, last quarter of the 17th century. Characteristic basket vessel with brass "cat's head" knob and "single-lead" iron basket. The latter was made for a left-handed person. Original grip with damaged cord winding and leather covering. Double-edged, blunt blade of lenticular cross-section. A Star of David and a crescent moon engraved on the quarterside. Vessel and blade in clean condition. L approx. 105 cm.
