Diploma of GRAND CORDON awarded on May 7, 1897 by Ali Pacha Bey to General Ernest-Maximilien LARCHEY (Strasbourg 1834-1924), letter of appointment enclosed (diploma 36 x 40 cm). Joined : the Diploma of the Grand Chancellery of the Legion of Honour managing foreign orders, giving the authorization to General Larchey, to accept and wear this Tunisian decoration, established on November 16, 1895, signed by the President Félix Faure (claw). The decoration was painted on the diploma (48,5 x 38,5 cm)
