Pierre Chompré, a law graduate, born in Narcy in the diocese of Châlons-sur-Marne in 1698, came early to Paris to establish a boarding house and died there in 1760 at the age of 62. A French boarding school master, he was the author of pedagogical works as well as an editor of sermons in Latin. Good condition.
