1739. CAEN (14). "ORDINANCE OF PEACE" between LOUIS XV and Emperor CHARLES VI (The Treaty of VIENNA (1738), ended the War of Succession of POLAND). Done at VERSAILLES (78) on May 28, 1739 - "It is made known to all, that a good, firm, stable & solid Peace, with a whole & sincere reconciliation, was made & granted between very high, very excellent & very powerful LOUIS King of France & Navarre, & very high, very excellent & very powerful Prince CHARLES Emperor, & the Lords Electors, Princes & States of the Empire..." - Royal vignette and Lettrine.
