New edition of Lettres iroquoises (containing only 37 of the 43 letters), epistolary novel by the defrocked capuchin Maubert de Gouvest. Cuffs and tailbone gnawed, upper cuff and corners worn away, spines split, spotting to edges of boards, a few rare small freckles. (Barbier II, 1228.)
