Quesnel, & generally all those who have shown zeal for the grace of Jesus Christ & the purity of Christian morals; to serve as a supplement to the Abrégé de l'Histoire Ecclésiastique [by Abbé Bonaventure Racine]. Second expanded edition of this work written by Dom Charles Clémencet, a Benedictine ardent defender of Port-Royal. He makes here an attack on the Abrégé de l'Histoire Ecclesiastique de l'Abbé Fleury continuée jusqu'en 1750, a work written by François Morenas, from Avignon, fierce opponent of the Jansenists. Heads torn off, corners dulled, some rubbing.
