Paris, Moutard, 1787. 6 vol. in-12, half maroon morocco with gilt fillet on the boards, spine ribbed and gilt head (later binding). Spines faded. Some foxing. A good copy. Reissue of the first edition published by Condorcet, all title pages being of the same date. The first volume was published by the author himself in 1779 under the title Éloges lus dans les séances publiques de l'Académie françoise. It is reproduced, with the same pagination, in the present edition. The frontispiece of volume I is missing. A good copy, barely trimmed.
