A silver huilier. Dijon 1762-1764 Master Goldsmith : Antoine I Chapuis, received in 1722 The basin of navette form rests on a pedestal with moulded edge and scrolls. It is decorated on each side with an applique of pampers and shells. The supports of the cruets and stoppers are richly decorated with vines and bunches of grapes. The stoppers of the cruets, with their moving contours, are extended by the neck cover. They are decorated with foliage scrolls on an amatized background and are topped by a fruit. The basin receives a coat of arms under a count's crown. Complete with a pair of cruets with handles in cut glass with rosettes. Discharge mark: a horse's head. The inside of the stoppers is in vermeil. Dim. of the basin : 27 x 12 cm Weight : 925 g.
