Silver tripod chocolate pot. Paris 1757-1758 Master Goldsmith: Joseph Pierre Jacques Duguay, received in 1756. Baluster-shaped, it rests on three pate feet with moulded attachments. The covered spout has a fillet moulding. The lid is hinged and has a scrolled thumb rest with a mobile moulded knob. Turned wood side handle. Complete with the discharge marks: A woman's head with its bun turned up and a shell. Height : 20 cm 20 cm Weight : 462 g. Beautiful recently brought back mousetrap.
