Silver tripod chocolate box. Paris 1775-1776 Master Goldsmith: Antoine Lucas, received in 1770 Of baluster form, it rests on three feet with molded attachments. The spout is fluted and has a hinged cover. The curved lid with nets, hinges and moulded thumb rest, is topped by a mobile knob. The side handle is made of turned wood. It is engraved on the body with a coat of arms topped by a count's crown. Discharge mark: a monkey's head. Height : 23 cm 23 cm Weight : 653 g. Provenance : Château de Keranroux, Finistère, France
