Schöne Louis-Seize-Kommode
Wood, veneered in walnut. On 4 small pedestal feet rises a 3-drawer corpus, the front corners of which are slightly beveled and decorated with pearl marquetry. The fronts of the drawers are decorated with long rectangular inlays, in the middle with feston-like marquetry. The brass fittings also show festoons. The top panel is slightly overhanging and features inlay work in light and dark wood, contrasting strongly with the dresser. Good, age appropriate condition, key present, restored 25 years ago.
