A VICTORIAN 18CT GOLD BLACK OPAL AND DIAMOND RING, two oval opals spaced by four old-cut diamonds, to carved scroll shoulders, total estimated diamond weight 1.15 carat approximately, hallmarked Birmingham 1892, ring size N. 4.8 grams8001200480The opals are well matched and have a good play of colour, predominantly green and blue with blue background colour. The opals measure 8mm x 6mm approximately. There is a chip noted to the girdle edge of one of the central diamonds. The estimated qualities of the diamonds are; colour: H/I, clarity: VS2/SI1.
