A VICTORIAN SILVER EASEL MIRROR, by William Comyns & Sons, London 1899, shaped rectangular, the gadrooned border as stylised peacock feathers, enclosed within double squiggle rims, ovoid cartouche at top engraved with monogram and date, with rounded rectangular bevelled glass plate, standing on a navy velvet easel stand. Approx 29.5cm high, 24cm wide, mirror plate 18.3cm high, 12.5cm wide8012048Marks clear. Stands upright - replacement hinges to back of stand. Velvet and backing fabric heavily worn, right through to wooden back in places. All six fixing screws to front present. Sections of silvering to top of mirror plate lacking. Minor dents, light surface marks and scratches to silver commensurate with age and use
