A VICTORIAN SILVER ROYAL PRESENTATION BOWL, by Francis Boone Thomas, London 1895, circular, cast in high relief with a scene depicting various figure groups outside a tavern and other buildings within a rural setting, raised on a stepped ebonised wooden plinth, presented by HRH Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, to his personal Surgeon-Apothecary at Sandringham, Sir Alan Reeve Manby; together with A PHOTOGRAPH, entitled 'H.R.H. The Prince of Wales' Smile - Caught at Richmond, 1893'. (2) Bowl 12.2cm diameter, 10.5 troy ounces10001500600Marks clear - further double stamped 'THOMAS / 153 NEW BOND ST'. Stands upright, does not rock. Personalised engraving reads: 'A.R.M / XMAS 1894. / from Albert Edward'. Light surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
