Condition: Very good condition. Ella Jane Fitzgerald known as Ella Fitzgerald and nicknamed Lady Ella, the Queen of Jazz and the First Lady of Song, was an American jazz singer. Notwithstanding this basic jazz status, Ella Fitzgerald's musical repertoire is vast and includes swing, blues, bossa nova, samba, gospel, calypso, Christmas songs, pop and so on. Along with Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan, she is considered the most important and influential singer in the history of jazz (and, in general, of American popular melodic song). She was gifted with a voice with a three-octave vocal range, and her clear, precise vocalisation and her ability to improvise, especially in the scat, a technique she developed in the 1940s and which heralded the emergence of bop, stand out. In the 1950s, he set the standard with his conception of the melodic song, in parallel to the work of Frank Sinatra, with his versions of songs by the great composers of American popular song (the songbooks of Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, etc.). She won fourteen Grammy Awards, including the Grammy for her entire career, and was awarded the National Medal of Arts and the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom.

He is also famous for being a record industry executive - he is the letter "A" of A&M Records, a record label he founded with Jerry Moss. Alpert's musical achievements include five number ones, twenty-eight albums on the Billboard charts, eight Grammy Awards, fourteen platinum records and fifteen gold records. By 1996, Alpert had sold 72 million albums worldwide.
