Wedgwood Ceramic table clock Great Britain, mid-20th century Height x width x depth: 15.6 x 10.4 x 1.7 cm. Weight: 181 g. Case in painted ceramic featuring an 18th-century architectural capriccio. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and black hour markers. On the back, the inscriptions "Wedgwood - Etruria - England" and "11S31." Wedgwood, founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood in Stoke-on-Trent, England, is renowned for its high-quality pottery and ceramics. The company played a significant role in the Industrial Revolution and remains a prestigious name in fine china and decorative arts. Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement is currently working but may require a technical service.
