Smith & Wesson "Lever action No. 1" pistol, 31 caliber. Round, rifled, thunderbolt barrel with remnants of "CAST STEEL - SMITH & WESSON NORWICH CT - PATENTED FEBRUARY 14 1854" marking 25 cm long. Carcass engraved with scrolls. Walnut stock plates. Refinished in colors. Length: 25 cm A.B.E. (Small punctures). N° 129 on the hammer and the front of trigger guard. Manufactured from 1854-1855 to 1 200 specimens approximately. It is about the first weapon carried out by the first association of Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson.
