Mounted on a support axis with two round trunnions, arms with palmettes, decorated with a mask with a fantastic human head, topped with foliage, decorated at the base with two crossed dolphins. The knocker (hammer) is formed by two superb dolphins facing each other, chiseled in the round, linked to the base of a leonine mask with a human head. Beautiful presentation on an oval molded oak stand, decorated with a wrought iron plate with foliage. T.B.E. Doorknocker from the first half of the 17th century.
