BERGGRUEN (Gallery). Complete collection of illustrated catalogues from the Berggruen & compagnie gallery in Paris. Paris : Galerie Berggruen, 1952-1970. - 110 volumes in-8 lengthened. Paperback. Very rare complete series, including number 40bis, of the very beautiful catalogues published by the Galerie Berggruen on the occasion of the various exhibitions it organized. This collection offers a true panorama of art from the 50s to the 90s, bringing together the greatest artists of the time such as Matisse, Picasso, Klee, Léger, Tàpies, Miró, etc. A number of these catalogues have an original lithograph. Seventeen of these catalogues are from the ANDRÉ BRETON COLLECTION, namely: - KLEE (Paul). Gravures. Exhibition from February 14 to March 8, 1952. 1952. This very rare catalogue is the first one from the Berggruen Gallery. Published for the exhibition of prints by Paul Klee, which took place from 14 February to 8 March 1952, it includes the presentation of 30 prints.
