[NORTH]. [VALENCIENNES]. Historical memory of the Inca March. Photographic album, enhanced and colored photographs. France, Valenciennes, 1866. 85 photographs mounted in an album, four views per hardback page . Dimensions of the album: 300 x 240 mm. The Charitable Society known as "The Incas" was a carnival and philanthropic society more than Masonic founded in 1826. It organized a "march" on Ash Wednesday bringing together young people from Valenciennes and members of the society whose main goal was to relieve the poor. This album marked the 40th anniversary of the Society and the march organized from 17 to 19 June 1866. See: M.P.
