Louis Vuitton, Malle Fleurs, a Monogram canvas miniature trunk, circa 1920, with leather loop handles, wooden slats and three flip lock clasps, opening to a red paper interior, 28 x 11.5 x 14cmThese trunks were modelled after 'cabin' trunks and were presented to Louis Vuitton clients as gifts. They were filled with flowers and came with a zinc tray to protect the box. Clients could then request for the boxes to be converted into a sewing, jewellery or cigarette box.
