IZNIK-STYLE TILE PANEL. Siliceous paste painted in polychrome under a transparent colourless glaze. Decorated with floral motifs, composite flowers and saz leaves, inspired by Iznik productions. The central decoration framed by spandrels and a frieze of scrolls and composite flowers (2 tiles broken into three, in an old frame) Turkey, probably Kutahya, late 19th century.
