Rectangular box songbird in brown tortoise shell veneer (Chelonioidea spp) (pre-Convention), the lid mounted on gilded metal hinge is engraved with garlands and foliage. A push-button mechanism releases an automaton bird with coloured plumage, flapping its wings and swivelling on its axis, the animated beak singing. Mechanical system with key winding, in the state, seems to work, but tired. On the back a flap contains the winding key. Damage to the back plate, missing screws. Engraved on the back with the point " WILLY Monte-Carlo 1 nov 1913 ". In its box. Dimensions : 6,80 x 9,80 x 3,50 cm Gross weight : 394 g Specimen in tortoiseshell of marine turtle Chelonioidea spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to June 1, 1947 and therefore in conformity with the EC Rule 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc.
