Paris, Crapelet, year XIII [1804]. Scattered foxing, more marked on the plates. Handwritten bookplate on the title page of volume I: "Gaston Du Lac / Béziers le 27 décembre 1897". IMPORTANT EDITION, revised and considerably enlarged, of this work devoted to the genesis of the Canal du Midi. It is illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Andréossy, a folding table and 29 maps, plans and profiles mounted on tabs which allow to appreciate the extent of the project.
