DANTE (1265 - 1321) The Divine Comedy Bilingual edition based on the translation by L. Espinasse-Mongenet, illustrated with colour miniatures from a 15th century Sienese manuscript. Bound in full leather. Collection Galaxies, Editions André Ballandd, Paris, 1965 One of 750 copies in a special binding reserved for Editions Balland and numbered AB 606. Boxing One page folded. Slightly rubbed slipcase with some soiling. Good condition. This volume, the fourth in the "Galaxies" collection, was produced by Les Libraires Associés on Pierre Faucheux's models. Composed in Bodoni 10pt, it was printed on special bible paper of the Bolloré paper mills on August 30th, 1965 on the presses of the Imprimerie Darantière, in Dijon for the text, and of the Imprimerie moderne du Lion in Paris for the illustrations. (...) It was also bound in a special binding with 750 copies reserved for Editions André Ballland and numbered AB1 to AB750.
