B&W silver print on paper with name of the photographer at the bottom of the document and handwritten annotations on the reverse addressed to the admiral by his wife: "The swallow leaves no wake in the air, it has passed: who remembers it" signed and dated October 1, 1916 followed by the inscription: "keep, do not lose, Love, do not forget, your S. Koltchak". Slight freckles. H. : 23 cm - L. : 14, 5 cm.
