On designation - Important chandelier model "Zenith" in black crystal with twenty four lights with twisted arms and decorated with pendants, version with aluminium reflector shades. On our example, the six returns from the cover are missing. H. 117 cm D. 105 cm. Sold by designation. A classic Baccarat model, the Zenith chandelier is here revisited by Philippe Starck, who introduces a black crystal, the opposite of the usual luminescence of crystal, thus creating a new sculptural object. The first example was created for Baccarat's headquarters on the Place des Etats-Unis in Paris. Designed in 2005, it was then produced in a very limited number as part of the Dark Side collection.
