A yellow gold, coral lacquer and black lacquer cage box, decorated with birds, flowering rocks and basket of flowers. Finely chased with flowers and foliage. Inside the lid engraved later: "This box a present from Doctor Reynolds to Doctor Ainslie attendant Physicians on Geo. III was given by the latter who died at Grizedale near Ulverstone 26 oct.r 1834 to Bernard Gilpin. Ch. For professional services". Master silversmith : Louis Roucel active around 1756 - 1787.
