Poul Henningsen, 'Contrast' ceiling light, 1958, H. 45 cm, D. 45 cm. Made by Louis Poulsen, Copenhagen. Sheet aluminium, painted or polished in white, red-orange and blue., These ceiling lights were produced between 1962-91. By moving the upper cylinder, in conjunction with the differently coloured rings, the colour spectrum of the light can be changed variably.
