Of letters of seal and state prisons. Posthumous work, composed in 1778. Hamburg, 1782. 2 vols. in-8. Full contemporary fawn calf, gilt arms in the centre of the boards, triple gilt fillet in the frame, gilt spine with red morocco title-pieces and green morocco tomes.
Original edition. "One assures that these letters are from the Bailli De Mirabeau, uncle of the Count; indeed, one finds in them too many quotations to believe that they could have been composed in the Bastille".
