MARQUET Albert, 1875-1947 " L'Estaque, Viaduct " 1918. Oil on canvas mounted on cardboard (restorations), signed lower left. 33 x 41 cm. This work is accompanied by an Attestation of Inclusion from the Wildenstein Institute and will be included in the digital Catalogue Raisonné of Albert Marquet, currently in preparation under the auspices of the Wildenstein Plattner Institute Inc. NOTE: This painting has undergone two transformations. Originally, it had a factory chimney in the center. Between 1964 and 1967, it was removed. Then between 1984 and 2001, it underwent a second intervention. OLD PROVENANCES: Galerie Druet, Paris under the title "L'Estaque 1918, Cheminée d'usine et viaduc". Mr Georges Bernheim, Paris.
