Table top with filigree frames, slightly inward sweeping towards the centre, conical square legs, these slightly outward sweeping towards the table top at the inner edges. Embossed number "165" on the underside. With slight signs of wear. Small, punctual pressure marks. Dimensions: h. 52 cm, w. 149 cm, d. 54 cm. Severin Hansen Jr. Active around 1950/60 Danish furniture designer of the mid-20th century. Hansen worked with several renowned Danish designers during his lifetime. Many of his designs were produced by the Haslev Møbelsnedker company near Copenhagen, as well as by the Dutch manufacturer Bovenkamp. Hansen is best known for his remarkable wood designs, especially for tables and desks. Also worth mentioning is his successful collaboration with the Danish porcelain company Royal Copenhagen, for whom he designed a series of rosewood tables.
