Historic model frame in the style of Venetian plate frames. 2nd half of the 20th century. Wood, white primer, gold-coloured frame, red-coloured inner moulding. Mass decoration of the wide plate in the style of pastiglia decorations of Italian plate frames. Visible moulding consisting of a narrow, ascending fillet, on top of which is a somewhat wider, red-painted fillet. After a stepped ascending profile with a semi-circular bar, the wide plate follows, this with mass decoration with vegetal ornamentation. Finally, a stepped profile sloping outwards. Corner dowelling on verso. With patination. Corners somewhat bumped. Minor traces of use. Smaller missing parts of the frame at the outer edges. Dimensions: Ra. 84.5 x 74.4 cm, fold 64.9 x 54.9 cm, profile 10.7 x 3.3 cm.
