Large frame with fine wave band profiles. Circa 1900. Wood, gray primed, gold leaf metal overlay, with wavy band mass applications. Inside a wide, flat bead, merging into a steeply rising throat. This is followed by a wavy band mass decoration. A narrow panel is followed by another waveband mass decoration as a finial. The rear outer edge of the sides is undercut. Slightly open mitres due to age-shrinkage. Partial defects in the wavy band at the corners. Oxidation spots as well as abrasion and flaws in the metal leaf overlay. Interior bead partly with larger scratches. Dimensions: overall 116.5 x 88 cm, fold 100.6 x 72.5 cm, profile 9.1 x 4.6 cm.
