High cylindrical form with large round opening and cut stand. Incised monogrammed "RP" and dated on the underside. Second scratch marks on the wall, but inconspicuous in the overall picture. The stand with tiny scratches. Measures: H. 25 cm. Renate Precht 1933 Singen - 2020 Lauscha First apprenticeship as dental assistant. 1956 Birth of her son Ulrich Precht. 1959-63 Assistance in the arts and crafts business of her husband Volkhard Precht. 1963-83 Collaboration with Volkhard Precht at the studio glass kiln, during this time self-taught further education. From 1983 member of the VBK of the GDR, since then freelance in Lauscha. Since 1990 member of the BBK Thüringen e.V. Participation in numerous exhibitions and preservation of her works in collections and museums, including the Museum of Glass Art Lauscha and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Pillnitz.
