Roller jug with pilaster decoration. Probably Magdeburg or Erfurt. Probably 18th century. Faience, light body, white glazed and painted in polychrome sharp fire colours. Pewter mountings on the mouth and foot. Cylindrical body with ribbon handle. The wall with blue column ornamentation and interspersed floral depictions on a brown stippled background. The mounted pewter lid with central medallion, below it the engraved monogram "A. H. B." and a ball pusher. Marked three times on the underside (not resolved). Lady figure in an oval with a sunflower in her right hand, monogrammed "IV" and ligature monogrammed "HP". Lid restored at the hinge. The stand ring slightly dented, but without influence on stability. Missing part of the faience on the handle in the area of the pewter mounting. Surface of the faience partially rubbed in the area of the mouth. Pewter lid with scattered scratches. Dimensions: h. 28,5 cm.
