Dorothea Charol 1889 Odessa - 1963 London Russian sculptress, whose delicate figurines found wide distribution among others in reproductions of the Schwarzburger Werkstätten für Porzellankunst.Studied in Dresden at the Richter School of Art under Arthur Lange, at the University of Brussels, in the Schwägerle Studio in Munich and in Italy. Afterwards she lived in Berlin. Together with husband and painter, Adolf Köglsperger, member of the artists' association "Die Abstrakten". 1930 Divorce, then to Paris, presumably in exile in Mexico, then residing in London.
