Ernst Hasse 1819 Erfurt - 1860 Dresden From 1837 studies at the Dresden Art Academy as a pupil of Ludwig Richter. He makes nature studies and views of Dresden. 1848 moves to Dresden, where he works as a freelance painter as well as a draughtsman of animals and landscapes. Among other things, travels to France, Portugal and Spain, impressions partly incorporated into his works, but primarily depicting the nature of his homeland.
