Is influenced in his early works by the artists H. Schmidt-Kirstein, W. Lachnit, M. Lachnit, H. Glöckner and H. Jüchser. 1967-72 studies at the academy of arts in Dresden, among others with Gerhard Kettner and H. Kunze. Since then works as a freelance artist.
