Verso typographically titled and technically inscribed on a paper label on the stretcher o.mi. and an old title in ballpoint pen o.l.. Framed in a white wooden moulding. Painting sitting tightly in the frame. Small deformation in the canvas at corner upper right and canvas sitting somewhat loose. Canvas structure readable due to thin painting (inherent to the work). Small scratch in the painting layer at the lower left margin. Dimensions: 50,3 x 70,2 cm, overall 53,9 x 73 cm. Eberhard Gollner 1929 Chemnitz 1947 move to Krefeld, 1947 studies at the State Academy of Arts Düsseldorf. 1952-54 master student of Otto Pankok. In the mid-1950s co-founded the Düsseldorf group "Junge Realisten", to which he belonged until 1960. 1958-91 worked as art and geography teacher, 1975-91 "Gemeinschaft Krefelder Künstler", there chairman 1981-91. Received several art awards, e.g. 1988 Accademia Italia.
