Kurt Bunge 1911 Bitterfeld - 1998 Kassel Bunge studied from 1928-31 at the Burg Giebichenstein School of Applied Arts in Halle/Saale under Charles Crodel and Gerhard Marcks. From 1931 he worked as a restorer there. From 1950-59 lecturer, from 1957 professor at the Institute for Artistic Work Design at the Burg Giebichenstein College of Fine and Applied Arts in Halle. Since 1959 he has been working as a freelance artist in Kassel.
