Verso with the depiction of a flower still life in oil, there also signed "Wohlrab" and dated "1949" on the lower left. Framed in a gold-coloured frame with acanthus decoration. Image carrier slightly arched. Minor lesions with loss of painting layer at the corners and minimally along the margins in the area of the frame fold. Hans Wohlrab 1905 Eger - 1978 Nabburg/Oberpfalz Hans Wohlrab was a painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, art historian and porcelain designer. He studied at the Munich Academy from 1932 to 1937 under Fritz Hellmut Ehmcke and Josef Hillerbrand. From 1941 to 1943 he worked at the Great German Art Exhibition in the House of German Art in Munich. From 1961 he worked as an artist in Amberg.
