Michael Mathias Kiefer 1902 Munich - 1980 Feldwies am Chiemsee Michael Mathias Kiefer was a landscape, hunting, portrait and nude painter as well as a sculptor. From 1933 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Prof. Angelo Jank. Later he undertook various study trips to East Prussia, Hungary and Turkey. In 1934 he moved to Feldwies on Lake Chiemsee and worked as a painter and sculptor.
