Verso on the stretcher upper left an old, partly lost paper label, on it in typewriter probably deviating artist's inscription "Paul ...g" as well as titled and provided with an owner's note. On the artist's monogram cf. Franz Goldstein: Monogrammlexikon 1, Berlin, New York. 1999. PK 646. The canvas trimmed at the edges, with slight deformations around the edges due to the mounting adhesive. Painting layer with climatic edge. Partially with age craquelure, more obvious in the area of the seated lady's face. Marginal areas minimally rubbed. Tiny holes and missing parts resp. few tears within the depiction, these retouched as well as backed with patches in five places on verso. Dimensions: 152,8 x 85 cm. Monogrammist P.K. 20th century.
