On the verso of the frame, upper right, a fragmentary label of the "Great German Art Exhibition", numbered "1808" in blue crayon, and next to it another label "[Haus] der Deutschen Kunst zu München", typographically numbered "91". Doubled, canvas loosely seated. Partly with age craquelure. Painting layer with extensive retouching and overpainting on the entire picture surface, probably due to major damage. Signature added or passed over (?) in the course of the retouching. Isolated stains on the surface. Frame with missing parts of the frame and isolated spots in the applications.
