Polychrome porcelain. Brand: absent. Dimensions: height cm 4,1; cm 7,8x6,1. Conservation: lid broken in two fragments; insignificant chipping at the base. Gilded metal frame Rectangular snuff box decorated on the lid with a bas-relief historiated with two antique figures and an owl - one of which probably Athena - in a scene with architectural ruins. Inside there is a painting of an angel with a trumpet leaning on a sculptural bust to symbolise the arrival of an important announcement. The other external walls contain large landscapes with buildings or towers.
