Gruppo con il Ratto d’Europa Meissen, 1750-1760 Modello attribuito a Friedrich Elias Meyer (1723-1785) ,

Porcelain. Brand: swords in blue. Height 21.5 cm; 20.5 x 12 cm. Conservation: major restorations On a plinth with sod covered with flowers and leaves, rests the bull on which sits half-naked Europa wrapped in a long drape and flowers in her hair. The bull is also decorated with flowering branches. Next to the bull are two handmaids offering bouquets to the princess. A group of the same model is in Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum, published by A.L.den Blaauwen, Meissen Porcelain in the Rijksmuseum, 2000, no. 334.
