Crespina Faenza, seconda metà XVI secolo ,

Majolica decorated with fire colours. Brand: absent. Dimensions: height cm 8; diameter cm 27. Conservation: good; minimal chipping at the edge; craquelures Crepe with pods and a plastic play of shells and masks, moulded, covered with stanniferous enamel, and decorated with a winged putto, slightly humboned in the centre, framed by a foliate motif, painted in "compendiary style" in blue, yellow and orange. Both the shape and the pictorial style belong to the famous production of "whites" from Faenza in the 16th century. For the form see C.Ravanelli, Guidotti, Faenza.
