Boccale Probabilmente Faenza, fine del XIV secolo ,

Engobed and glazed terracotta decorated in two colours. Height 21.8 cm. Conservation: integrated mouth and neck; break on the belly under the spout; restored mug with ovoid body, neck, trilobed mouth (restored), wide ribbon handle and disc foot. Coated with a thin layer of slip, it is decorated with a bird with spread wings, stylised, with leaves drawn in manganese black and coloured in copper green. A bird, with a similar design, decorates a mug that belongs to the MIC in Faenza (cf. C.Ravanelli Guidotti, Thesaurus di opere della tradizione di Faenza nelle raccolte del Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza, Faenza 1998, p. 89, n.7).
