Set of four shui ping teapots, Yixing clay, China, late 19th - early 20th centuryOne in brown purple-red clay Zi sha or Zi ni, two in dark cinnabar red clay Zhu sha or Zhu ni, and one in lighter red clay Hong ni. Silver-plated metal mounts around the neck and on the rim of the lid to protect them from shocks. Each one has an engraved potter's mark on the bottom. Height: 4.5 cm and 5 cm; length: 9 to 11 cm
